Today was supposed to be cold and wet but it was beautiful and we got to play outside a lot at recess and lunch. We all finished off our stick insect camouflage and our leaf spatter painting. We learnt to read "in" words and we can sound out words like tin, pin, bin, kin, sin and fin.
"Did you know that kin are your family? (Harry S).
Mrs W got really cross at the pigeons because they are STILL eating our wheat head seeds! We put a wire around them and then pegged some netting around but when she got to school today she saw a pigeon had unpegged the net and was eating some wheat!
Our seeds on the cotton wool were sprouting and getting big so we planted some into little pots.
DAKOTA helped Mrs M pot the seedlings. Soon we will have big pea plants and be able to eat the peas.
COOPER was very busy at the Little Lego table and wanted to show you his construction.
LUCY took some time to have a rest in the tunnel. She looks so comfortable doesn't she?
Well it's the end of another week and we are a bit excited because it's a Long Weekend and we get to sleep in on Monday. Have a safe weekend and we will see you next week :)
