Tuesday News

Today was Tuesday and it was good to be back at school after the Long Weekend. It was really cold today but it didn't rain. The trees in the "big kids" playground were dropping their leaves so we tiptoed out of the gate and collected two big baskets full. At lunch time Mrs E let us throw the leaves up and try to catch them. It was so much fun and we made a big mess!

                             We threw the leaves up into the air.

                                   Indee made it rain leaves.

                       Jamee made a funny face when the leaves hit her head.

                        Mia tried to camouflage herself in the leaves.


When Mrs E got to school today, she found that the pigeons had knocked over three of our wheat heads again. She shooed them away and put MORE netting over the wire. After lunch Mrs N went outside and found a pigoen INSIDE the wire!!! Are we ever going to stop them? Mrs M had the idea to bring all the heads inside and put them on the window sill - that will keep them safe - we hope.
